Wisconsin Association for Legal Professionals

2010-11 Scholarship

The Wisconsin Association for Legal Professionals sponsors a scholarship award for qualified applicants, with special emphasis on prospective legal personnel.  Attached below are the application form and a copy of the rules and regulations for the WALP Scholarship Award.

Only one applicant may be submitted from each local association.  The application itself and all attachments must be submitted in triplicate.  (The Rules and Regulations should be adhered to in every respect.)  Applications for the 2010 WALP Scholarship must have been postmarked no later than March 15, 2010.  Any application postmarked after that date would be automatically disqualified.

Each local association should inform all students and schools to whom these applications are available that the local association must sponsor and submit the application to the WALP Education/Scholarship Committee.  No applicant may submit an application directly to this committee.

An eligible student may be entered for competition in the WALP Scholarship Award Contest, whether or not the sponsoring local association awards a scholarship on the local level.  Be sure to timely submit your chapter's applicant to WALP so that no applications need to be disqualified.

The winner of the scholarship for 2009 is Danielle Giese. Her name was submitted by Brown County Association for Legal Professionals. We wish her continued success in her studies.
